10. Write a paragraph on "Traffic Jam"10
Write a paragraph on "Traffic Jam".
উত্তর দেখো
Traffic jam is one of the most irritating problems in modern cities. It occurs when too many vehicles try to use the same road at the same time, causing a long queue. There are many reasons behind traffic jams. The rapid growth of population and the increasing number of vehicles are the main causes. Most of the roads in our cities are narrow and cannot handle the heavy traffic. Besides, drivers often do not obey traffic rules, and unauthorized parking on the roads makes the situation worse. Traffic jams cause immense suffering to people. Patients are carried to hospitals late, students miss their exams, and working people cannot reach their workplaces on time. It kills our valuable time and causes mental stress. To solve this problem, the government should build wider roads and flyovers. Traffic rules must be implemented strictly, and drivers should be properly trained. Public awareness is also necessary to reduce traffic jams and make city life smooth and comfortable.

12. Write a composition on "Recent Flood in Bangladesh"20
Write a composition on "Recent Flood in Bangladesh".
উত্তর দেখো
Flood is a common natural calamity in Bangladesh. Almost every year, the country faces floods of varying intensity. The recent flood that hit different parts of Bangladesh last year was one of the most devastating in recent memory.
The main cause of this flood was heavy and continuous rainfall. The rivers overflowed their banks due to the onrush of floodwater from upstream. As a result, vast areas of land went under water. Rivers like the Jamuna, Padma, and Teesta crossed the danger level, flooding hundreds of villages. Districts such as Kurigram, Jamalpur, Sylhet, and Faridpur were severely affected.
The impact of the flood was terrible. Many people lost their lives, while thousands became homeless. Crops on vast tracts of land were washed away, which threatened the food security of the country. Many domestic animals died, and houses and educational institutions collapsed. The communication system was completely disrupted. People took shelter on roofs, embankments, and in schools. They suffered from a scarcity of food, pure drinking water, and medicine. After the flood, water-borne diseases like diarrhea and cholera broke out in the affected areas, claiming more lives.
However, the government and various non-government organizations came forward to help the flood-affected people. Relief materials, including dry food, water purifying tablets, and medicines, were distributed among the victims. The army and navy also conducted rescue operations to save stranded people. But the relief was not sufficient compared to the massive destruction.
In conclusion, floods cause immense suffering and hinder the development of the country. It is not possible to stop floods entirely, but their impact can be minimized. The government should build strong embankments and dredge rivers to increase their water-holding capacity.
