To
The Headteacher,
Govt. M.C. Academy,
Sylhet.

Subject: Prayer for setting up a Computer Club in the school.

Sir,

With due respect, I, on behalf of the students of Govt. M.C. Academy, would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that there is no computer club in our school. In this age of information technology, computer literacy has become essential for every student. Without proper knowledge of computers, it is very difficult to keep pace with the modern world and to compete with students of other institutions.

A computer club would provide students with the opportunity to learn computer skills, access educational resources, and prepare themselves for future challenges. Many students cannot afford to learn computer skills outside the school due to high expenses. If a computer club is set up in our school, students will be able to practice computer skills during their free periods and after school hours under the guidance of a trained instructor.

We, therefore, earnestly pray and hope that you would kindly take necessary steps to set up a computer club in our school as early as possible and oblige us thereby.

We remain,
Sir,
Your obedient pupils,
Govt. M.C. Academy, Sylhet.

14. Write a paragraph on 'The Life of a Farmer'10

উত্তর দেখো
A farmer is a person who cultivates land and produces crops. He is one of the most important persons in our society because he provides us with food. In Bangladesh, most of the farmers are poor and illiterate. They work hard from dawn to dusk in their fields. A farmer usually wakes up early in the morning, takes a simple breakfast, and goes to the field with his plough and bullocks. He works in the sun and rain, often without proper rest. Despite his hard work, a farmer leads a very simple and difficult life. He cannot afford proper food, clothing, or education for his children. During the harvest season, he becomes happy when the crops are good. But when natural disasters like floods or droughts destroy his crops, he becomes helpless and has to take loans from moneylenders. A farmer can enjoy his life if he gets proper facilities like irrigation, good seeds, fertilizers, fair prices for his crops, and easy access to loans. The contribution of a farmer to the nation is immense. He grows crops that feed the whole nation. Without farmers, the economy of our country would collapse, as agriculture is the backbone of Bangladesh. Therefore, we should respect farmers and ensure they get the facilities they deserve.

15. Write a composition on 'Your Favourite Game' (about 250 words)12

উত্তর দেখো
My Favourite Game

Games and sports are essential for our physical and mental development. Among all the games, my favourite game is cricket. It is an international game played between two teams, each consisting of eleven players. Cricket is played on a large oval-shaped field with a rectangular pitch in the centre. The game is played with a bat, a ball, and stumps.

Cricket originated in England and gradually spread all over the world. Today, it is one of the most popular games in the world, especially in the Indian subcontinent, Australia, England, and South Africa. The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the governing body of world cricket. Cricket is played in three formats: Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODI), and Twenty20 (T20). Each format has its own excitement and charm.

I love cricket because it is a game of skill, strategy, and stamina. It requires physical fitness, mental sharpness, and teamwork. A cricket match is divided into two innings. One team bats while the other team bowls and fields. The team that scores more runs wins the match. The batsmen try to score runs by hitting the ball, while the bowlers try to take wickets. Fielders support the bowlers by catching the ball and preventing runs.

Bangladesh has made remarkable progress in cricket in recent years. Our national cricket team, the Bangladesh Tigers, has achieved many memorable victories against top-ranked teams. Players like Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, and Mushfiqur Rahim have become icons for the younger generation. When Bangladesh wins a match, the whole nation celebrates with joy.

Cricket teaches us discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. It helps us stay fit and healthy. It also teaches us how to handle both victory and defeat gracefully. I try to play cricket with my friends whenever I get free time. Watching cricket matches on television is also one of my favourite pastimes.

In conclusion, cricket is not just a game for me; it is a passion. It brings excitement, joy, and a sense of unity. I believe that cricket will continue to grow in popularity in Bangladesh and inspire more young people to take up the sport.
