10. Write a paragraph on "A Rickshaw Puller" (250 words)10

A rickshaw puller is a very familiar figure in our country. Write a paragraph in 250 words on ‘A Rickshaw Puller’.

উত্তর দেখো
Sample Paragraph:
A rickshaw puller is a very familiar figure in our country. He is a poor day laborer who earns his livelihood by pulling a rickshaw. He is mostly seen standing at the bus stands, railway stations, and street corners, waiting for passengers. Usually, he comes from a poor family in the village. He wears torn and dirty clothes and lives in a slum. His daily life is full of hardship and struggle. From dawn to dusk, he pulls his rickshaw under the scorching sun or in heavy rain. Sometimes he has to carry heavy passengers or goods, which takes a toll on his health. He does not have any fixed income. If he earns a little after a long day's work, he buys food for his family. But during illness or on holidays, he and his family have to starve. Though he provides a great service by carrying people to their destinations, he is often looked down upon by society. Sometimes passengers misbehave with him and do not pay the proper fare. Despite his hard work, he cannot improve his condition because of extreme poverty. A rickshaw puller is truly the unfortunate victim of our socio-economic system. The government and society should come forward to improve his living standard by providing alternative employment and necessary support.

12. Write a composition on "The Season You Like Best"20

We have six seasons in a year. You like the rainy season best and it is your favourite season. Write a short composition on ‘The Season You Like Best’ narrating why you like this season, its main attractions and your feelings during this season.

উত্তর দেখো
Sample Composition:
Bangladesh is a land of six seasons. The seasons come one after another and change the face of nature. Among them, the rainy season is my favourite season. It comprises the months of Ashar and Shravan. After the scorching heat of summer, the rainy season comes as a blessing to nature and mankind.
I like the rainy season for many reasons. During this time, the sky remains cloudy and it rains heavily. The parched earth gets soaked with water. Rivers, canals, and ponds become full to the brim. Boats of different sizes sail across the rivers, creating a beautiful scene. The nature looks fresh, clean, and green. New leaves sprout on trees, and the grass grows lush green. A variety of flowers like water lilies bloom in ponds, adding beauty to the landscape.
The rainy season also brings a variety of fruits. Mangoes, jackfruits, blackberries, and litchis ripen in this season. The sweet melody of the cuckoo is replaced by the rhythmic croaking of frogs. The farmer's joy knows no bounds as the rains water their fields, preparing them for paddy cultivation. Rain brings relief to the poor and tired people from the extreme heat of summer.
However, sometimes the rainy season causes suffering too. Excessive rain leads to floods, which wash away houses, crops, and cattle, bringing misery to the poor. Roads become muddy and slippery, making it difficult to walk. Sometimes water-borne diseases break out due to poor sanitation.
Despite some drawbacks, the rainy season is the most charming season to me. The cool breeze, the rhythmic sound of rain, and the beauty of green nature give me immense pleasure. I love to watch the rain from my window and eat fried snacks in the afternoon. Truly, the rainy season is the heart of the Bengali calendar, and I eagerly wait for it every year.
