Hello, dear readers. I'm Paul. The boy that you can see feeding a rabbit in this picture was me when I was a little kid. Today, I'm going to tell you how I spent my childhood days, and what my family and I liked and disliked. My family and I loved going to the park on weekends. We liked having picnics there. My sister and I liked to watch the animals. My mother made simple sandwiches for us because both my mother and father hated cooking on picnic days. My sister and I loved playing around the park and feeding the animals. I didn't like sitting on the grass and doing nothing for hours. My parents liked to watch us play while they talked. We all liked going to the park because we loved being outdoors and feeling free. We could relax there and listen to the birds singing. We also enjoyed watching the little rabbits running around. We could play as much as we wanted, but my father got angry if we went near the bushes. He didn't like letting his children go too far out of sight. Sometimes, when we went too far away, my mother called us back. She used to tell my sister that she had seen some spiders near the bushes. My sister was afraid of spiders. She still hates them. Title: The Rich Banker and the Happy Cobbler

Once there lived a happy cobbler who passed his days in working and singing from morning till night. A rich neighbour of his was a banker who one day said to him, "How much do you earn a year?"

The cobbler replied, "I don't count my earnings, sir. I earn enough to feed my family and I am happy."

The banker felt sorry for the cobbler. He thought the cobbler was poor and needed help. So he gave the cobbler a bag of gold coins. The cobbler was surprised and happy. He took the bag home and hid it under his bed.

But from that day, the cobbler's life changed. He could not sleep at night. He kept worrying about the gold coins. He stopped singing. He kept thinking that someone might steal his money. He became anxious and unhappy.

Days passed. The cobbler looked tired and sad. He could no longer enjoy his work. One day, he went to the banker and returned the bag of gold coins. He said, "Take your money back, sir. I was happier without it. The money has taken away my peace and happiness."

Answer: (a) How did the accident take place? (b) Who was/were the victim/victims? (c) What are the main causes of street accident? (d) What is your feeling? (e) What should we do to protect it?

উত্তর দেখো
A street accident is a common occurrence in our country. Yesterday, I witnessed a terrible street accident in front of our school. A young boy was crossing the road when a speeding bus hit him. The boy fell on the road and was seriously injured. People rushed to the spot and took him to the nearest hospital. The victim was a school student like me, which made me feel very sad and shocked. The main causes of street accidents are reckless driving, over-speeding, overtaking, and violating traffic rules. Unlicensed drivers and damaged vehicles also contribute to accidents. People crossing roads carelessly is another cause. Street accidents take away many innocent lives every year. I feel very sorry for the victims and their families. To prevent street accidents, we should follow traffic rules strictly. The government should enforce traffic laws, punish reckless drivers, and improve road conditions. Public awareness should also be raised about road safety.

Abid: Yesterday, there was no electricity for four hours! I couldn't study at all.
Anis: Same here. My little brother was crying because of the heat. We couldn't even use the fan.
Abid: It's also affecting our studies. The exam is coming, and we can't concentrate.
Anis: And the food in the refrigerator gets spoiled during long load shedding.
Abid: The students, patients, and elderly people suffer the most.
Anis: We should complain to the electricity office about this problem.
Abid: Yes. We can also use solar panels or IPS as backup.
Anis: That's a good idea. But everyone can't afford those.
Abid: The government should take steps to solve this problem permanently.
Anis: I agree. Let's write a complaint letter to the electricity office.
Abid: Good idea. Let's do it today.
